Class Registration

Ongoing classes designed for Beginner through Advanced Students. In the Clay Class, explore techniques of coil-building, slab work, pinch forms, scrafitto, applique and carving. In the Painting Class, discover the secrets of composition, texture and perspective by using applied elements, acrylic paint, wash techniques and transparent glazing. Teacher has a Masters Degree in Ceramics and Fine Art.

Fees:

"4-in-a-row Package", $140 for four consecutive classes, glaze and firing for projects made from 1 bag of clay. No make-up class if you miss one. Clay available at $20 per bag. Additional glaze available at $15 per session. Additional firing available on a per size basis.

"4 Classes in 8 Weeks", $150 for four consecutive classes, glaze and firing for projects made from 1 bag of clay. You have 8 weeks to take your 4 classes. Clay available at $20 per bag. Additional glaze available at $15 per session. Additional firing available on a per size basis.

"Pay as You Go Plan ", $40 for one class. Materials extra. Clay available at $20 per bag. Glaze available at $15 per session. Firing available on a per size basis.

"Gift Certificate", for $50, $160 or $170, includes instruction, clay, glaze and firing. Comes with a printed certificate and a small clay piece. Give the gift of creativity!

Once you have made your reservation, here is what to bring:  Apron or old shirt, reference picture of something you might like to make, any art tools you have on hand (we have class tools for you to use if you don't have any, and also tool kits for purchase), texture making objects like costume jewelry, leaves, kitchen objects, etc. We also have project ideas and materials ready to go for beginners, as well as a library of art reference books.

Art making is fun and relaxing. I have been doing it for 30 years and still love it!
